In Verterans Memorial Park there are four monuments, three that honor Veterans and the other to David Thompson, explorer. The park is near the library on Kootenai Street.

Veterans Memorial Park is a lush green space with three memorials designed to honor all veterans. There is an impressive granite monument to honor David Thompson, Explore. In the center there is a 100 foot flag pole. There are a few picnic tables and benches for your convenience.

In Memory Of, veterans memorial is three sided and of granite, inscribed with the names of the veterans from World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam.

The other, Our Fallen Heroes, is also three sided shaped more like a wedge and two names are inscribed. On one edge are the emblems of the branches of the military.

The third, large as well and also granite honors and respects all Veterans: Past, Present and Future.
