Amazingly, this monument is intact in a section of the cemetery that has been vandalized. Below the Woodmen emblem is an anchor, denoting hope, and the family name, "Steedman", is on the plinth. The inscription is:

Died
April 2, 1902

Aged 23 Yrs, 4 Mos & 14 Ds.
