This legendary aquatic creature is known locally as 'Peregrine's Mermaid' commemorates the re-unification of St Dogmaels (Welsh - Llandudoch) within Pembrokeshire on 1st April 2003
The lifesize Mermaid is carved from wood, & is posed sitting on a tree stump looking out on the Afon Teifi estuary, at the trailhead of the 186 Mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path - National Trail. According to Lonely Planet "One of the best long distance trails in the World."
