Listed for heritage protection by the Office of Environment & Heritage (NSW Government) which describes it as:
St. Andrews is a small but fine full dressed stone gothic style church with a steeply pitched roof clad in corrugated iron. The stone walls on the end gable walls rises above the roof slightly and forms a low parapet at each end. The windows are tall and gothic styled, broken into three panes of diamond shaped lead lighting and some coloured glass. A porch on the eastern side forms the entrance and has a similar high pitched gabled roof over a stone arch.
Due to the lack of funds the church took eight years to be built.
