This authentic mill, relocated to Wamego's city park, was originally built in 1879, several miles north. It ground locally grown grain. In the 1920's it was disassembled, each stone and timber numbered, relocated and reassembled. During the Tulip Festival every Spring, and thanks to the electric mother that replaced the sails, the mill still grinds grain.
