The panels are protected by perspex making photography difficult. The other wars mentioned are the Boer War, World War 2, Malaya & Vietnam. Behind the memorial is an avenue of trees planted in 1995 to honour those killed in all wars. The Memorial is in OL Milling Lions Park beside the main thoroughfare.

According to Monument Australia the memorial was dedicated on 16 October 1988.
