The church's foundation stone was laid in 1914 & the church closed in 1994. The overall character of the church remains externally however the vegetation has been removed & crushed gravel replaces lawn. The building is in a reasonable state of repair with only the roof requiring attention due to rust.

The former church sits on a hillock behind the town & it can be seen from afar, hence my visit.

The National Library of Australia has a book about the church written by Roy Cameron with sufficient details to verify its former affiliation & closure. See here: (visit link)
