Wyaldra Shire was a former Local Government area. The Shire was established in 1906 & abolished in 1941 when it amalgamated with Gulgong Municipality. The Wyaldra Shire Hall was the office of the shire & is still used today by the Mid Western Council, now based in Bathurst. It is painted in heritage colours & is in first class order.
