Mentone hosts the Egg festival every year. It has lots of street vendors to visit, car shows, a little entertainment, and a parade to boot. It occurs the first weekend of June each year (Thursday through Saturday) and is located right on main street. The attendance is always good and some years there are carnival rides for the kids.
Be sure to visit the giant egg when in town too! It's also home to the bell helicopter museum (the founder of Bell helicopters was born here).
