"Mit einer Höhe von 1 424 Meter, der Grand Ballon ist der höchste Gipfel der Vogesen. An seinem Gipfel erheben sich eine grosse weisse Kugel, ein Radar, sowie ein Denkmal. Ein Fusspfad, der mit vielfältigen Aussichtspunkten ausgestattet ist, erlaubt, zum Gipfel zu gelangen. Von dort oben hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Umgebung."

"Reaching 1,424 metres at its highest point, the Grand Ballon is the highest peak of the Vosges mountains. A radar in the shape of a big white ball stands at the top, as well as a commemorative monument. A footpath offering numerous viewpoints takes walkers up to the summit. There is a beautiful view of surrounding area from the peak."
