A carved jarrah post of a forearm and hand holding a large steel spanner symbolising the engineering aspect of the Shire and is one of a group of carved posts that depict the various attractions, industry and mythology of the town, the carvings include trout fishing, fresh-water crayfish farming, engineering,flora and fauna and aboriginal mythology, the carvings are next to the tourist information bay north of town
