St. James Church in Nuremberg, Germany is not only a waypoint along the Way of St. James, it also serves as a pilgrim's consultation center. A marker at the southeast corner of the church and a sign at the door invite pilgrims.

Inside, a statue of St. James and a decorative piece of art by Mara Loytved-Hardegg are dedicated to the Way of St. James.

Since the nearby St. Elisabeth Church is also an official waypoint, we can proudly claim that we have walked a part of the Way of St. James - a total of 100 feet across the street.
