Nova Scotia highway webcams are operated by the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (TIR). Most are mounted on tall steel towers which have weather sensors included on the tower. The sensors measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and wind direction and speed. Highway Cameras Page. The page receives up to 250,000 visits per month in winter.
The webcam pic below is more or less real time and will update every 30 to 40 minutes, depending on conditions.
This highway webcam right in the centre of the Highway 102-Highway 118 interchange about 10 kilometres north of Dartmouth and nearly the same distance northeast of Sackville. From atop its tower it looks west down Highway 102. Another camera on the same tower looks east over the interchange.
