This elegant pillar and pedestal memorial was erected in the 1920s to honor the men who served in the Royal East Kent Yeomanry & East Kent Yeomanry from their raising in 1794 to their decommissioning in 1921. It also recognizes specifically those of their comrades who died in service during the WWI, and in South Africa during the Second Boer War 1900-1901.
The memorial pedestal is topped by an adorned pillar. Pedestal is engraved as follows:
