Location of obelisk: MO-C (Fulton Ave.), cemetery behind the christian church, Mokane

This was once the city cemetery, and about 1893 or so the Christian Church was built in front of it. The cemetery has not been in use for more many years. The city has a new big cemetery north of here.
This place is referred to as the Pioneer Cemetery and other such names.

Town name is made from the railroad that help create it: Missouri (MO), Kansas (KAN) & Eastern (E) Railroad.
