This church was a Baptist church from the 1800s until 2009. When you pass by on a Sunday, you can hear the singing from the open doors. "...the songs we incorporate into our services range from contemporary to original hymns."

"Locke Community Church (LCC) was once well known in the community as Milan Baptist Church (MBC). Way back in the early 1800’s, the town of Locke was referred to as Milan. The church maintained it’s name of Milan Baptist until just a few years ago...In 2004 & 2005, God began stirring the hearts of church leadership and drawing them into the fullness of the Spirit. In 2009 under the leadership of Pastor Saied Adour the church’s name was officially changed to Locke Community Church. The church is now affiliated with Elim Fellowship, a ‘Christ-Centered Worldwide Revival Fellowship.’ Our desire is to be a healthy, Spirit filled, Spirit led congregation that models the gospel, highly values the Word of God and seeks first His Kingdom."
