A grade I listed building since 1967, St. Leonard's stands on the site of a small 12th century church which was demolished in 1849.
The church was conceived, planned & wholly paid for by the widowed Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Lucy who owned and lived on the adjacent Charlecote Estate.
