Dedicated on June 11, 1976, this memorial is considered an American Revolution Bicentennial monument. It is located opposite of East Jefferson Street from the US Post Office. It was dedicated by the Viroqua Jaycettes to commemorate their former President. There are two plaques and one with the bicentennial symbol. It is in the lawn flush. The inscriptions are easily read within the photos.
