L'église a été construit en 1919 sous la direction de son concepteur, le Père Briere (pasteur/curé). Son style peut être qualifié de gothique: la voûte en forme de l'arc polygonal, un nef à un vaisseau et une tour. La structure est en bois récouverte de plastique, alors qu'à l'origine, elle était récouverte de bois.

The Roman Catholic church Saint-Jean-Baptiste is located on Labrie Street in Pointe-aux-Outardes, Quebec.
