One of several historical meridian lines surveyed by Astronomers Royal before 1884 (when the Prime Meridian was determined), Bradley's Meridian line is marked on the inside and outside of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich.
A nearby historical plaque reads as follows:
"JAMES BRADLEY’S MERIDIAN
The 3rd Astronomer Royal, James Bradley (1692-1762) set up his principal telescope on this north-south line, or meridian, which was used as Longitude Zero from 1750 to 1850."
