From WhatPub - "This lively and welcoming terraced pub dating from 1845 originally brewed its own ales until 1923, with information about its interesting history displayed upon the walls. There is single large comfortable lounge bar with four beers including from Banks's and Wye Valley. The cask Banks's Mild is on electric dispense. Cobs are available all day and to the rear is a pleasant and quiet flower garden. Crib, darts and the quiz on Tuesdays add to the comfortable atmosphere. On Saturday evenings there is live music and occasionally on Sunday afternoons."
