EN: This old millstone stands converted to a table at a bench on the main road of Simplon village, not far from the village square.
There is no information about the history of this millstone, but on the outskirts of the village is a former mill dating from 1758. The stone might have come from there.
DE: Dieser alte Mühlstein steht bei einer Sitzbank an der Hauptstrasse von Simplon Dorf, unweit des Dorfplatzes.
Es gibt keine Informationen über die Geschichte des Mühlsteins, aber am Dorfrand steht eine ehemalige Mühle von 1758. Der Stein könnte von da stammen.
