This sports complex was a joint project between the City of San José, San José Unified School District and a generous donation from Almaden resident Patty O'Malley.

This seven acre sports complex next to Allen Steinbeck School replaced their natural turf fields with two full-sized synthetic turf soccer fields.
The project included:
- 2 synthetic turf soccer fields and Little League field
- Sports lighting and fencing
- Restrooms and drinking fountains
- Parking for 55 vehicles
- Bioretention basin/ raingarden
- Perimeter paths and access points
During the school hours, the complex provide athletic fields for the nearby school and at other times they are available for soccer, baseball and other free play until 10 PM.
