EN: This simple wooden footbridge is located on a hiking trail north of Simplon Dorf. The Simplon Panoramic Trail leads from the hospice to the village Simplon, east of the pass road and high above it. This stage takes about four and a half hours, the bridge is located approximately in the middle of the track.
The bridge has only a railing, but this is additionally provided with a wire fence, as this is also the border of a sheep enclosure.
DE: Diese einfache Holzbrücke befindet sich an einem Wanderweg nördlich von Simplon Dorf. Der Simplonparonamaweg führt östlich der Passstrasse und hoch über ihr vom Hospiz zum Dorf Simplon. Diese Etappe dauert rund viereinhalb Stunden, die Brücke befindet sich ungefähr in der Mitte der Strecke.
Die Brücke hat nur ein Geländer, dieses ist aber noch zusätzlich mit einem Drahtzaun versehen, da dies auch der Rand eines Schafgeheges ist.
