Originally, this blacksmith shop was located in Lancaster township, some 70 kilometres from its current site in Upper Canada Village.
The smithy is active on site through the summer months, until the Sunday after Labour Day.
This structure was one of the first buildings erected at Upper Canada Village in the late 1950s, soon after the seaway was opened. The street address below is for the heritage village.
