This Victorian pillar box has a double mouth and is located on the west side of Queen Street just to the south of the junction with Cheapside in the City of London. The box is still in regular use.

The box is in good decorative order probably having been painted during the summer of 2016. Both mouths probably deposit the mail into a single collection receptacle as there is no differentiation between the mouths such as "first" and "second".

The box is located in an area where the majority of the space is taken up by offices with retail outlets to serve the offices and those that work there.
