Pamatnik byl odhalen 25. 9. 1932 ke 100 vyroci narozeni Prof. Ph.Dr. Miroslava Tyrse. Autorem bronzove plakety je ak. sochar B. Hlavacek.
Prof. Ph.Dr. Miroslav Tyrs (narozen jako Friedrich Emmanuel Tirsch) (*17. zari 1832, Decin – †8. srpna 1884, Oetz, Tyrolsko) byl cesky narodni obrozenec nemeckeho puvodu, kritik, historik umeni, estetik, profesor dejin na UK a na CVUT v Praze, predseda vytvarneho odboru Umelecke besedy a clen poroty pro socharskou vyzdobu Narodniho divadla v Praze. Podilel se na zalozeni organizovaného telovychovneho hnuti v Cechach, zejmena Sokola.

The memorial was unveiled 25.9. 1932 to the 100 anniversary of the birth Prof. Ph.Dr Miroslav Tyrs. The author of the bronze plaques is academic sculptor B. Hlavacek.
Prof. Ph.Dr. Miroslav Tyrs (born Friedrich Emmanuel Tirsch(*September 17, 1832, Decin - †Aug. 8, 1884, Oetz, Tyrol) was a Czech national revivalist German origin, critic, art historian, esthetician, professor of history at Charles University and the Czech Technical University in Prague Chairman of the Department of Fine Arts and a member of the panel discussions for sculptural decoration of the National Theatre in Prague. He participated in the founding of Sports organized movement in Bohemia, especially Sokol.
