Long Description:


Deception Pass State Park is a spectacular place to visit and this is in my opinion the best of many great overlooks with views of Cranberry Lake, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands.

Park in the North Beach parking area of Deception Pass State Park and look for the trailhead signs. Take the Goose Rock summit trail (1/2 mile, I believe)and hike to the top.
