Listed as a heritage building by the NSW Government's Heritage Office (visit link) it is described as:

Architecturally it has some original features, air vents, shutter catches, toilets which are rate (sic) to be still existing in this area Air vents are unique. Aesthetically beautiful stone building including original windows and decorative vents.

A sign at the front states it was built in 1872 & is open on Fridays only.
