[GER] Am östlichen Eingang des Daliengartens befindet sich ein Stein mit dem Wappen von Altona. Am 23. August 1664 erhob Friedrich III. von Dänemark Altona zur Stadt und verlieh ihr ein Wappen. Altona war bis zur Eingemeindung zu Hamburg im Jahre 1938 eine selbständigen Stadt. Nun ist Altona der westliche Bezirk der Stadt Hamburg.
[ENG] At the eastern entrance of the dahlia garden is a stone with the coat of Altona. On August 23, 1664 Friedrich III. Denmark rose Altona to a city and gave her a coat of arms. Altona was an independent city until the annexation to Hamburg in 1938th. Now Altona is the western district of the city Hamburg.
