This toll house is placed in Gondorf at the street heading to Kobern. As usual for a toll-house it marks the border of the town. The second function was to serve as a guard-house. The traffic coming from north was controlled at this place. It was build in the 14th century and at this times it, getting money for entering a town was privileg which was welcome by the ruler of a town. The house itself is a half-timbered one and has two levels. Today it is used as dwelling. A sign on indicates the former use of this building.
