Angle Point located on the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness boundary, established by USDA-Forest Service, Walter F. Miller in 2005. Described in survey CS# 06-021 filed in the Jefferson County Surveyors Office.

Start from the Jack Lake Trailhead which is generally NW, 24.1 miles by road from the Sisters Ranger Station. Hike northbound on Old Summit Trail #4014 for 0.4 mile to the junction with Canyon Glacier Trail #4010. There is a wooden wilderness boundary sign nearby and a U-post. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present angle point bears S80.3°W from the U-post, 330' distant. Bear left on Canyon Glacier Trail and continue 320' to another U-post with a NATIONAL FOREST WILDERNESS sign. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present angle point bears N36.0°W from that U-post, 207' distant.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are two proximate U-posts with NATIONAL FOREST WILDERNESS signs. One bears NE, 44" distant. The other, bent to the ground under a windfall, bears SE, 42" distant. Found two trees with scribed blazes and yellow BEARING TREE tags. The nearer is a snag with a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign and a nailed washer, stamped PLS 2111. The other is a live ponderosa pine now 16.7" in diameter.
