Black Bear is a fairly large mural and features the bear and an eagle soaring above. The Cabinet Mountains are a backdrop for the mural.
The artists names are difficult to read, and are not listed individually below. It is interesting that the names are inscribed on one of the large stones resting in the meadow and is part of the mural.
Todd Berget is an art teacher at the Alternative School assisted his students in creating this and other murals in the area. The students did the initial work and then Berget added the finishing touches. He did not take any credit for the murals and did not put his name on them. Instead all the students that took part in creating the murals added their names to them. Most names are located in the corner of the murals.
