Small but neat lake side beach, which can be very crowded on sunny days.
The water is good for swimming especially for young children. Because the water is 'aired' there is no hazard for algae anymore during warm summers.
The grass attached to the beach can be used for sunbathing and playing. A walk around the lake is approx 4km (tarmac path), or go around on a horseback! (sandy path). Another part is reserved for playing volleyball and for bar exersizes and practising parcour running.
Cars are NOT allowed on the beach, but can be parked for free nearby. Dogs are only allowed on the beach off season. Nudes are NOT allowed
There is a restaurant at the beach where you can by drinks, and soft drinks, or have a meal. You can even try some waterskiing (reservation required).
There are no public toilets, no specific handicap facilities and no lifeguards. There are NO cabana's or chair's to rent.
There is a boot ramp on the other side of the lake (also a WM), but a canoe van be used here without any problems.
In the winter time rare birds can be sometimes spotted on the lake.
The beach can be freely accessed. 24/7, all year around.
There is even a special Facebook page:
