Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears N70.4°W from PT S MJW, WAYPOINT WMRZW5, 254' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Did not search for bearing trees in thick Ceanothus; any are burned snags or down. Found a U-post with a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign which bears N, 43" distant. Another bent to the ground under a windfall bears S.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest all around
