There aren't many Roman Catholic churches further north than this one. On the shores of the Arctic Ocean, Our Lady of Grace has been giving locals a place to pray for about 75 years.

There aren't many Roman Catholic churches further north than this one. On the shores of the Arctic Ocean, Our Lady of Grace has been giving locals a place to pray for about 75 years.
According to a newspaper article (www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/tuktoyaktuk-catholic-church-reopens-after-years-of-restoration-work-1.3049607) restoration work has been completed in March 2015. I visited at just this time. It's possible that the plywood walls are the finishing touches but it would be great to see more photos from waymakers who find themselves up here.
