This depot now serves as a railroad and maritime museum with emphasis on the local area, rich in history on both subjects. The building is nicely restored, and well maintained, and includes a section of trackage and a MOW vehicle out front.

From the website:

Restored Pepin railroad depot, full of railroad and steamboat memorabilia. Volunteer staff on hand to help bring the past alive. Souvenirs available. Located on the National Scenic Highway 35 in Laura Ingalls Wilder Park. Hours of operation: May – October: Daily 10 am – 4 pm.
