The burials in this cemetery were made from medical units stationed in Aire. The cemetery contains the graves of 865 British, 15 canadian, 6 Australian, 1 New Zealand, 4 Indian, 3 British West Indian, 3 French and 7 German soldiers.
There are also 21 graves of British soldiers of the Second World.
This Cemetery was constructed and is maintained by the commonwealth war graves commission.

Ce cimetière fut utilisé pour les inhumations des militaires décédés dans les centres médicaux d'Aire. Il contient les tombes de 865 soldats Britanniques, 15 Canadiens, 6 Australiens, 1 Néo-Zélandais, 4 Indiens, 3 des Indes Occidentales Britanniques, 3 Français, et 7 Allemands.
Il y a aussi les tombes de 21 soldats Britanniques de la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale.
La Commonwealth War Graves commission à construit ce carré et est responsable de son entretien.
