Q 230 Verticle Control Mark - Sparta, WI - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Searching for this disk based on the coordinates given in its datasheet is slightly off. Searching based off of previous government survey location description was dead on. The road it is on is hardly used so traffic is a minimal worry. There is a place to park on the Northwest side of Milwaukee Street, just South of the overpass. Once you have parked walk Northeast on Milwaukee and then go under the bridge to the other side. The disk is on the Northeast facing of the bridge column just before the tracks. Watch for trains as they move through very fast. The disk is before the tracks so there should be no reason to cross then anyways.
