This museum displays personal memorabilia of Laura Ingalls, Author of the Little House on the Prairie books. The homestead nearby was named "Rocky Ridge Farm" by Laura and her husband while they resided there. There is a nice 'walking horse' theme, black iron weathervane displayed at the peak of the museum's roof, with the words 'Rocky Ridge Farm' in cutout silhouette lettering.
