the entrance to Port Royal Sound and is believed to
be from circa 1850. Park is dedicated to all seafarer’s
past and present.

Found At A Point 14 Miles From Fripp Island, S.C.
At A Depth Of 50 Feet.
Recovered In 1974 By The Shrimping Trawler
"Bobby's Young n" Of Port Royal, S.C.
And Loaned To The Town By Her Captain,
Bobby ChaplinMy son and I were in this area for a Marine Corps graduation of a friend. We came early to look around. Port Royal and Beaufort are well worth the trip for history and unique finds.
