The Visitor Center at the Crazy Horse Memorial is a rich display of artistry in hundreds of media, contained in several rooms. Most of the artworks relate to Native American heritage and western American history, or were significant in inspiration for Korczak Ziolkowski, the artist who began the massive mountain carving project.
In the main gallery is a gorgeous stained glass window approximately 3' x 4', depicting the mountain carving and surrounding area, and the small plaque below only informs us this was a "gift of Lewis Thomas".
