Built in 1937 for Mr. Lehman as investment property. This building replaced an iron clad building that had been on the property which was destroyed by fire. Though little is known about the tenants in this building it does have significant importance as it was one of the few building built in the 1930's which still stand today in Sparta thus it is considered a contributing building to the historic district as mentioned on page 13 of the NRHP file. Today this building houses a law firm.
