"Die heilige Ursula, Schutzpatronin unserer Stadt, schmückt diesen Brunnen auf dem Marktplatz im Zentrum der Altstadt. Die Grundsteinlegung des Brunnens in seiner jetzigen Form erfolgte im Jahr 1962; geschaffen wurde er von den Oberurseler Bildhauern Harold Winter und Paul Dick."
