[FR] C’est vers 1150 que débuta la construction de l’église de Soucy avec des proportions caractérisées par ses 40 mètres de longueur, et sa hauteur sous voûtes de 12 mètres.
Rasé en 1378 durant la guerre de cent ans par Richard d’Angleterre venu mettre le siège devant Sens, l’édifice fut reconstruit dans les siècles suivants.
La particularité de cet édifice est la construction du clocher à quatre tourelles restauré sur les bases d'un donjon.
