Established in 1890, the town of Brockway has a deep history steeped in lumber and cranberries. The hand painted mural in front of town hall captures this plus a few more significant landmarks in the town. The town is just West from Black River State Forest and south of Black River Falls. Brockway is the home of Wazee Lake which is the deepest lake in Wisconsin. The town has a population of less than 3,000. The building itself is a brick building with a slightly pitched roof. Based on GIS, the property itself dates back to 1931, though very little information is known about the building itself.
