Mary Pauline, who preferred her second name (common in the South), was born on 3 June 1912 in Griggs, OK to Orin Arms Dungan and Etta Warren Dungan. She lived in Pea Ridge most of her life, and worked at the Daisy factory in Rogers where they make the famous air guns. She was also a famed quilter.

She married Jesse Laughlin (1917-1990) who was 5 years her junior, and who is buried elsewhere in this cemetery. Jesse passed on in 1990 when he was over 72 years old. Pauline continued on another 23 years until 22 March 2013, a couple of months short of 101 years old.
