A short stroll along a clifftop walkway and a climb up several steps will lead to this viewing platform perched on the edge of the cliffs at Gap Bluff in Sydney Harbour National Park. Coastal views stretch across the harbour mouth to Sydney's North Head and southwards along the rugged cliffs past The Gap at Watsons Bay near South Head. There are also distant views over the harbour to the city.

This site is significant to the traditional owners, the Birrabirragal people, who once occupied the area. There are some rock engraving still remaining. This is a great place to visit and well worth climbing the steps for the view at 141 feet above the ocean below.
Parking is available on the roadside at the Gap but you will need to walk up the footpath and climb the steps to capture these awesome views from this scenic overlook. A sign warns that this is a dangerous cliff area and you MUST remain behind the fence barriers. No dogs allowed.
