It is not clear for whom this ghost bike was placed. Speculation is that it was placed for all cyclists' deaths in general (visit link) .

The ghost bike is located on a section of the Southbank Riverwalk that is adjacent to the Main Street Bridge (officially the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge), which "has not been kind to cyclists over the years" according to a June 24, 2016, post on The Jacksonville Bicycle Coalition (visit link) Facebook page.

The ghost bike is appropriately attached to a bike rack on the Southbank Riverwalk, a popular place for cyclists. In addition to the white paint, it is decorated with white silk flowers, white peace symbols, and white doves.
