This memorial park is on McCann's Blvd. opposite a Ukrainian church, St. Nicholas. The monument in front is to a Ukrainian hero Taras Shevchenko.

The park is supposed to be named for Taras Shevchenko, according to the plaque and the attached sign on the park sign, but is referred to as McCain's Park on the website. There is also a sign referring to it as McCain's Park. Also the field is named for Kevin Cicci, a 19 year old athlete who died in a car crash.
It is home to Elmira Heights Little League.
